Spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed it! The staff was super friendly, and I felt safe the whole time. Security even called when my door was left ajar, which was cool. Breakfast was a highlight, too! Just wish the bathroom had more lighting and counter space, it was a bit cramped for getting ready.

I had a great time exploring the nearby north hollywood recreation center, which was just a short 500-meter walk away, and the bustling universal studios was only about 4.5 km from the hotel, making it perfect for my city strolls. the clean rooms and friendly staff were just what I needed to recharge after a day of sightseeing.

The King Suite offers ample space with a clean, comfortable layout, perfect for families. Access to key features like microwaves and fridges really elevates the convenience factor during your stay.

While I had no complaints about the cleanliness or comfort of the room, the TV situation was a major letdown — old and outdated sets didn’t match the otherwise modern vibe of the place. Additionally, noise from the upper floors was disruptive early in the mornings, making it tough to catch some extra Zs. Coupled with unreliable electrical outlets near the beds, my charging options were limited, which is not ideal when you’re trying to keep kids’ devices alive.

Just a suitable option for a brief sojourn in Los Angeles with extraordinarily good value for money. The breakfast had great variety with oatmeal, pancakes, and sausages that my family enjoyed a lot. Consider arriving a bit earlier to make the most of the amenities.

i had a great stay at the holiday inn express! the property was very clean and the staff were super friendly. the room was tidy and the beds were comfy. it’s conveniently located near universal studios, making my trip even better. i especially loved the delicious free breakfast with those fun 1-minute pancakes.
